Dominic Marullo

Dominic is an Underwriting Manager in the Boiler & Machinery unit at Travelers, leading a team of underwriters. Prior roles include Middle Market underwriting at both Travelers and The Hartford as well as a Business Process Effectiveness role at Travelers and an Industry Manager role at The Hartford. Prior to returning to Travelers as an Underwriting Services Director for Boiler, he held a Middle Market Industry Consultant role at Liberty Mutual. Dominic holds a BA in History from Boston University and earned his CPCU designation in 2020.

Rick Poulin

Rick Poulin is the Vice President of Underwriting at Pie Insurance, responsible for underwriting strategy, appetite, growth, and profitability. He works remotely from West Hartford, CT. In prior roles, Rick was Vice President of Workers Compensation Product at Travelers Insurance, responsible for the Product Development, Line Management, Strategy, and Profitability across the WC line of business. Rick holds a BA in Mathematics and Political Science from the University of Vermont and earned his CPCU designation in 2014.

Amber Melanson

Amber is a Sr. Agency Management Specialist at Selective Insurance responsible for underwriting new middle market business and managing agency relationships for the Northeast region. Prior roles include construction underwriting at The Hartford as well as a consultant in the complex claims group at The Hartford. Amber has a BS in Business Administration from Eastern Connecticut State University and earned her CPCU in November 2019.

Ryan Honyotski

Ryan is an Assistant Vice President for MunichRe Specialty Insurance where he works as a management liability underwriter. He previously worked for Chubb and TDC Specialty Underwriters. Prior to his career in insurance, he worked in the residential lending department of a community bank. Ryan holds a BA in Economics from Central Connecticut State University and earned his CPCU designation in 2019. This is the fourth position Ryan has held as part of the Connecticut CPCU Society Chapter Leadership Team.

Lindsay Ladin

Lindsay is a 2nd Vice President with Travelers Insurance and has over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. She is currently part of the Residual Market Group. Her previous roles within Travelers include Product Development for Workers Compensation and Business Development for Middle Market. Prior to joining Travelers, Lindsay was an Underwriting Manager for FirstComp/Markel Insurance. Throughout her career, Lindsay has served on numerous boards and committees within the Workers Compensation industry and is extremely passionate about the health and integrity of the line. She holds a BS in Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island and earned her CPCU in 2020.

Patty Havens

Patty is a Manager with Travelers Insurance and has over 20+ years of experience in financial data management and reinsurance. Since 2013, Patty has been part of and is now managing the reserving system used by Travelers’ Actuarial community for setting and booking reserves. Prior to her current role, Patty was responsible for TPA Losses processed through the Travelers’ Commercial Property Casualty Loss system. She has also worked at Aetna and ITT Hartford in the Reinsurance area. Patty received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Augustana College. She recently earned her CPCU in 2020 the AIAF designation in 2021.

Noreen Kuziak

Noreen is a Commercial Property Expert at Munich RE Specialty Insurance, Munich RE America and has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry spanning operations, sales / marketing and underwriting, both in primary and reinsurance. She has also worked at The Hartford, The Travelers and HSB. Noreen holds an A.B. from Mount Holyoke College in History, an M.B.A. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Marketing, and received her CPCU designation in 2004. She has held many positions within the Chapter: Director of New Designees, Director of Education, Secretary, President from July, 2012-2013, Past President, and Co-Chair of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee.

Karen is a Director of Business Analysis for Liberty Mutual, overseeing Operational reporting and dashboards for its North America Specialty Insurance. She has previously worked in either data management or actuarial support roles at The Hartford, OneBeacon and Ironshore. Karen has a BA in Political Science from Siena College and earned her CPCU designation in 2004.

Patrick Meaney

Patrick is a Senior Underwriter at Arch Insurance in the Property & Casualty Programs division. He has over 13 years of experience in the Property & Casualty industry. Prior to his current role, Patrick worked at Travelers as an underwriter in Global Partner Services and The Hartford in various capacities in Small Commercial and the Complex Claims Group. Patrick has a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and earned his CPCU in April 2022.
