Chapter President

Wendy Bernard


Wendy is a Sr.Product Specialist at MunichRe working for Digital Partners.  She has 20+ years of insurance experience in product development, process excellence, and project execution with a strong varied background in P&C insurance most recently having a concentration in Workers Compensation.  Wendy holds a BS in Business Analytics from UConn and is pursuing a dual major MBA/Masters in Business Analytics and Project Management from UCONN.  She earned the CPCU designation in 2002.  Wendy has served as the Vice President in 2019, on the Diversity committee since 2016, and was Director of Education in 2017 and 2018.

Justin Moulton


Justin is the New England State Relations Executive for the National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) and focuses on the health of the workers compensation system in the region.  Prior to joining NCCI in 2017, Justin spent 19 years in various roles with Travelers, most recently as their head of Compliance and Research for State and Bureau Regulatory Affairs.  Justin holds a BS in Finance from Babson College, is a graduate of the Travelers Financial Leadership Development Program, and earned his CPCU designation in 2017.

Andy Welch


Andy Welch is a Product Development Manager at Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB) responsible for enhancements to existing product lines, as well as the development of new specialty products. Prior to HSB, Andy was a workers’ compensation Product Owner at Travelers. Andy also worked in commercial lines underwriting at both Travelers and The Hartford before moving to Product related roles in 2015. Andy holds a BFA in Creative Writing from Johnson State College and earned his CPCU designation in 2018.

Ryan Honyotski


Ryan works for TDC Specialty Underwriters in Unionville, CT. As a management liability underwriter his focus is on providing liability solutions for a variety of healthcare organizations. Prior to his career in insurance, he worked in the residential lending department of a community bank. Ryan holds a BA in Economics from Central Connecticut State University and earned his CPCU designation in 2019. This is the first position Ryan has held as part of the Connecticut Chapter CPCU Society.

Deb Bartucca


Deb is a Product Director for Travelers, mainly responsible for General Liability and Professional coverages.  She started in the insurance industry in 1987, and worked in Claims before moving to Product Development in 2007.  Deb holds a BA from the University of Connecticut, and earned the CPCU designation in 2012.  Deb served as Vice President in 2018 and President in 2019.  In addition, Deb has been a member of the Good Works committee since 2012, and was Director of Good Works in 2016 and 2017.

Courtney Allen


Courtney Allen is currently employed by AmTrust Financial Services as a Clinical Product Manager.  Previously, she was employed for a large insurance carrier overseeing catastrophic workers’ compensation cases.  She began working in the legal system in 2009 in various law firms and spent one year working for the State of Connecticut. Courtney is a graduate of Rockville High School in Vernon, CT.  She holds a Bachelor’s of Psychology from Rhode Island College in Providence, RI and a Juris Doctorate from Western New England University School of Law in Springfield, MA.

Alyssa Corazzini


Alyssa is a Product Operations Manager at HSB with 10 yrs in the industry, including 4 yrs in underwriting and 3 yrs in product. She holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Worcester State University. Alyssa expects to complete her CPCU designation in Q1 2020. Additionally, she holds four P&C designations (ARM, AU, AINS, AIS) as well as a project management certification (CAPM). Alyssa is immensely passionate about professional development and looks forward to partnering with folks throughout Connecticut to shed light around the importance of continuing education in the industry, and to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Chase Yetter

Chase is an Actuarial Assistant at The Hartford, currently in the Actuarial Leadership Development Program. His current role is in National Accounts Pricing, formerly spending 2 years on the Small Commercial Pricing team with a focus on Workers Compensation. Chase holds a BS in Actuarial Science & Mathematics with a minor in Economics from Lebanon Valley College. He hopes to become a CPCU in January of 2020 and has also completed all exams necessary to become an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
