Joint HAIW/WAIW meeting
Joelle Murchison Hayes, 2nd VP, Travelers will be our keynote speaker on Diversity.
March 8, 2012 Lunch
Ethics. We will be offering a 3 to 4 CE Credit course in the morning preceding the Lunch meeting. Keynote Speaker - Tom Jones, Chief Compliance Officer, The Hartford
April 12, 2012 Breakfast
The is our Chapter Annual Meeting. Jodi Wallach, National Director of Recruitment, Liberty Mutual Agency Markets Group, will be our keynote and discuss Internet Recruiting and Resume Buidling.
May 10, 2012 Dinner
Installation of Chapter Officers. Steve McElhiney from the National CPCU Society office will be our keynote speaker.
Location of Meetings:
Unless otherwise noted, all meetings are held at The Hartford Plaza Hotel (The Sheraton has been bought and renamed) 100 East River Drive, East Hartford ... offering easy access from I-84 and free parking.
Meeting times:
Breakfast meeting: Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., followed by a buffet at 8:00 a.m. and our keynote speaker from 8:30-9:15 a.m.
Luncheon meeting: Registration begins at 11:30 a.m., followed by a buffet at noon and our keynote speaker from 12:30-1:15 p.m.
Dinner meeting: Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar, followed by a served dinner at 6:15 p.m., installation of officers at 7:00 p.m. and keynote speaker from 7:15-8:00 p.m.
Prices: All regularly scheduled monthly meetings (with the exception of our annual New Designee Reception and I Day) are free to all CT Chapter Paid Members as a part of our dues structure! We need you to register for each meeting, however, to plan for food and seating!
All meetings are always open to all insurance professionals. A $36 per regular monthly meeting charge will remain in effect in 2010/2011 for any CPCU who is not a paid member of the CT Chapter and to all insurance professionals who may not carry the CPCU designation. Our New Designee Reception and our Annual I Day/Conferment Luncheon prices will be posted under separate notices.
Please Note: Many companies will support these meetings as educational events and reimburse the expenses for their employees.
